Who Should Join

 

All counselors, therapists, counseling professionals, and counseling students interested in counseling in Wisconsin and across the nation.  At WCA we are always looking for people who want to get involved and advocate for the counseling profession.  Whether you want to take on a leadership position or simply gain more knowledge about the field itself, WCA can help.  Take hold of your future and get involved, let your voice be heard!  

Levels of Membership


Professional Members


are individuals who hold a Master's degree or higher in counseling or be credentialed in counseling through a license. Professional members may vote and hold office. 

Student Members


are persons enrolled at least half-time in a program in counseling or counselor education program. Please register using school email to confirm student status. Students may hold the Technology Chair or Advocacy Chair positions on the board. 

Retired Members


are those persons who have retired from the active practice of counseling.

Affiliate Members


are persons whose interest and activities are consistent with those of the Association, but who do not have the licensure for a Professional membership. Affiliate members may not vote or hold office. 

Current Dues

Professional Members - $65/year

Student Members- $25/year

Retired Members- $30/year 

Affiliate Members- $60/year
